Application egineering director
• Provide technical and marketing support with team for sales offices with the objective to achieve product and solution presales activities for customer satisfaction and analyzing customer requirements, preparing technical and cost content for commercial offering;
• Lead the team and collect and analyze customer requirements for products and complete solutions;
• Manage the team to prepare technical content for commercial offers/bids/quotes based on customer requirements;
• Lead the team in preparing concept proposals for complete solutions according to customer specifications;
• Provide technical assistance to sales offices in direct contact with customers, when applicable;
• Be sure of the technical specifications and other relevant documents for solution-compatibility with relevant product-related standards;
• Analyze and optimize the offered solution in respect of space, costs, reliability and service;
• Lead the team to interface to COE Application/Product Engineering for triggering activities related to required SFA solutions according to SFA process flowchart;
• Support, consolidate and provide MU feedback to COE product/application development and help the team to stay updated with product developments, production-process and performance of products and applications;
• Arrange trainings of the team when applicable;
• Attend visits with customers, sales representatives, contractors and consulting engineers, when applicable;
• Be the example to follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements and help team to that are defined on work instructions.
• University degree in Electro technics or Electronics with additional experience preferred with assigned product portfolio;
• 7 or more years of experience in ENP products ;
• Good understandings of ENP products, systems and principles;
• Knowledge of relevant standards related to ENP products;
• Knowledge of the basics of power electronics and cooling systems principles;
• English language - good verbal and written communications skills;
• Good computer skills;
• Good problem solving skills;
• Ability to understand customer requirements and to lead the team;
• Leadership skills;
• Team-oriented, proactive and open for sharing best practices and knowledge.
